Standard Mounting Methods
Drill and Tap Take me back to mounting methods
All standard cast ADA signs are ¼" deep, flat backed. For permanent, concealed mounting, these plaques are drilled and tapped and provided with threaded studs. For additional information on stud mounting, refer to Cast Plaque Mounting Methods.
Double Faced Tape Take me back to mounting methods
Double faced tape may be specified for use on cast ADA signs. It is highly recommended that an adhesive (such as silicone or construction adhesive) be used between the strips of tape for additional installation security.
Drill Through Face Take me back to mounting methods
Holes are drilled through the face of the cast ADA sign in each of the four corners. Depending upon the type of mounting surface, wood screws, toggle bolts or machine screws and expansion sleeves may be specified.
